January

January.  When did you arrive and where did you go?  Our life has been a quiet one here.  I have been fighting this cold for half of the month.  I am sure I have coughed more than I have talked.  Here is to better winter days.

Love,
Victoria

  2. I am right there with you in being sick this entire month. I feel like I have been in the deep sea of solitude floating in the waves under a moonlit sky. Your chocolate deserts are so beautiful with the rose petal blossom frosting. You are so creative. well wishes to you xx

  3. Victoria,
Sorry to hear you have been ill, I went through 5 weeks of it last winter so I understand the frustration of feeling sick and the lack of energy. Beautiful photos and oh my those brownies with the rose petal icing are the most beautiful brownies I've ever seen! Stay warm, rest up, be well.

  5. Oh dear, hope you feel better soon? As for winter viruses and Colds I have seemed to so far escape the flu.... Knock on some shabby wood around here.
Take lots of Vitamine C at best 6,000 - 8,000 mg a day. It works for us.

Those mini cakes delight, I too make little cakes topped with pettles of frosting's, and I adore your vintage style in how they are wilted looking, just amazingly frosted art pieces you have created.

Winter is just beginning to hit us, colder days are inspiring working in the home a bit more these past few days.
What next are you working on or planning to work on?
    Stay warm and beautiful.

    Xx
