Treasures Treasures

This has been the most amazing treasure hunting weekend.  Like you girls, I know exactly what I like and very picky about what I bring home.  But it is starting to overflow and I don't have any more room for my treasures...insert sad face here.  For awhile now, I have been dreaming about a little room at a local flea market where I can display my creations and create a shabby whimsical space and an Etsy shop.  I want it to be filled with things I adore and love.  This weekend I found so many things I love!!

Isn't there a rule about not taking pictures next to a window? I meant it when I said I have no more space in my house.  Can we please talk about this trunk?  It is huge! You know I can't leave it as it is.  My brain hurts just thinking about the possibilities.

It is big enough to be a coffee table or a bench.

Oh the places it had been.

I also found a vintage metal milk crate.

These set of measuring jars.

This shabby bucket

This gorgeous old shutter with a yummy chippy paint.  I also picked up a really pretty vanity and a Victorian Settee.  I can't wait to share all of my upcoming projects with you.

Love,
Victoria

  1. As an Etsy addict, I vote that you do open an Etsy shop!

  2. I am not very good at getting that inspiration when looking at a fantastic piece with a desire to change it. Yet, I would have picked up this chest in a heartbeat and prayed my imagination would take hold! I look forward to seeing what you do! :)

  3. I can just imagine what a beautiful finish you will put on the trunk. do trry to save the labels if you can - I always find them so interesting on a piece of furniture. love the wire basket and the shutter. I have two booths in an antique mall and just opened an Etsy shop. I will warn you - once you start with this resell business, you will never want to stop!
